I Ching

The I Ching (Book of Changes) dates back thousands of years. It contains Confucian philosophy and was also heavily influenced by Lao Tzu when he founded Taoism around 600 BC.

To do an I Ching reading, one tosses coins or painted sticks in order to determine patterns of solid or broken lines representing yin and yang.  The querent creates six lines, called a hexagram.  The hexagram is then determined to be a number between 1 - 64, which leads the querent to a corresponding scripture.

To get your I Ching reading, input your name and your question below.  Tarotsmith uses Aleister Crowley's poetic translation of the Book of Changes.
